About the osgEarth Project
License
The osgEarth project is licensed under the LGPL.
Basically this means you can use it in any product, commercial or otherwise, without fees and without having to open source any of your application code. Attribution is appreciated but not required. However: if you make changes to osgEarth itself, you must contribute those changes back to the open source project. Incorporation of contributions shall be at the sole discretion of the maintainers.
Maintainers
Jason Beverage and Glenn Waldron of Pelican Mapping are the primary maintainers of osgEarth. Pelican Mapping is a software services company in the Washington, DC area that specializes in development of geospatial software, map production, GIS, and 3D visualization.
